Description

Hyboella dilatata (De Haan, 1842)

Acridium (Tetrix) dilatatum De Haan, 1843: 166, pl. 22, fig. 12 (holotype – female, Java: without definite locality; in NBC).

Tettix dilatatus: Bolívar, 1887: 260.

Acrydium dilatatum: Kirby, 1914: 68.

Hyboella dilatata: Hancock, 1915: 107; Günther, 1939: 215; Shishodia, 1991: 118, pl. 24, figs. 1-4; Blackith, 1992: 92; Otte, 1997: 83.

Coptotettix inflata Krauss, 1902: 758, pl. 67, fig. 12 (holoype – male, Java: West Java, Cibodas [=Tjibodas]; in SMNS); synonymised with H. dilatata by Günther (1939).

Distribution. India (Assam, Arunachal Pradesh), Myanmar, Indonesia (Java Island).
