Stenus rorellus caffer Puthz, 1971
Type locality: South Africa, Gauteng Province, Pretoria.
Material examined. SOUTH AFRICA: Limpopo: 5 ♂, 14 ♀: Waterberg: Lapalala Wilderness, 23.49 S – 20.17 E, from grass tussocks, 16.viii.1975, Endrödy-Younga # 830 (TMSA, JJRC); 1 ♀: Mpumalanga: Mr Tom Prinslooʼs farm, Vrischgewaagt, outside Dullstroom, 25.25S, 30.06E, 21.x.2000, W. Breytenbach (SANC); KwaZulu-Natal: 1 ♀: Natal, 6 miles S of Pongola, 5.vi.67, Govn. Ent. S., (SANC).
Distribution. The species is distributed in Malawi, Zambia, Angola, Zimbabwe, Namibia and South Africa.
