Diagnosis. Themalegenitaliaofthisnewspeciesaresomewhatsimilar to those of N. glauculalis, but the uncus is narrower in N. furcatella than in N. glauculalis, thesaccusismuchlonger, thedistalfusedstructureofthevalva islongerandprocess- like, theaedeagusislesscurved, thevesicaisarmedby twostrongcornuti, andastrikinglylongcostalprocessispresentinthevalva.
Thefemalegenitaliaof N. furcatella arereminiscenttothoseof N. ineffectalis sensuHolloway (Figs 20–21), butinthenewspeciesthesternumA7 is longer, thecorpusbursaeislesselongate, globular, andmorescobinatethan in N. ineffectalis.
