ABSTRACT
The aim of this study is to investigate in the national and international literature studies that present entrepreneurial actions in the public sector. The searches were carried out in the national databases Spell and Scielo and international Web of Science and Scopus, in the period from 2010 to 2020. To perform the searches, the keywords were used in English and Portuguese: "public entrepreneurship"; "entrepreneurship" AND "public sector"; "intrapreneurship" AND "public sector"; "political entrepreneurship". From the exclusion criteria, 16 studies were selected. As results, it is highlighted that entrepreneurial practices in the public sector have occurred through the training of servers, awards and valorization of practices, networking, social interaction, changes in the organizational culture of the public sector and in the process of formulating and implementing public policies. It is concluded that entrepreneurial practices in the public sector are ways to transform the ethos of public organizations, contributing to organizational, interorganizational and social development, through better possibilities of access to quality public services.
