Description of Male. Fully winged; length 2.0–3.0 mm. Head black or brown, except mandible testaceous and clypeus ferruginous; occasionally gena ferruginous; antenna yellow, except segments 7–10 or 8–10 darkened or brown (in specimen from Brunei, 04°34'N 115°07'E, antenna totally testaceous); mesosoma and metasoma brownferruginous; occasionally mesosoma more or less darkened or brown; petiole yellow, occasionally darkened; legs yellow. Antenna filiform; antennal segments in following proportions: 10:5:5.5:7:7:6.5:6:6:6:8. Head dull, granulated, occasionally with hardly distinct irregular keels on face; frontal line complete; occipital carina complete; POL = 2; OL = 2; OOL = 7; OPL = 5; TL = 3.5. Scutum dull, granulated, with hardly distinct irregular keels (in specimen from Brunei, 04°34'N 115°07'E, scutum granulated and slightly rugose). Notauli complete (hardly visible near posterior margin of scutum), posteriorly separated; minimum distance between notauli longer than greatest breadth of posterior ocelli (6:3). Scutellum and metanotum shiny, smooth, unsculptured, occasionally dull and granulated. In specimen from Brunei, 04°34'N 115°07'E, scutellum granulated. Propodeum reticulate rugose, with areolae very wide; posterior surface with two longitudinal keels, lateral areas rugose and median area almost completely smooth, not rugose. Fore wing with two dark transverse bands (in specimen from Brunei, 04°34'N 115°07'E, fore wing with only one dark transverse band beneath pterostigma); pterostigma lanceolate; stigmal vein strongly curved, with distal part shorter than proximal part (15:18). Petiole very long, shorter than metasoma (9:17). Genitalia in plate 66A. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.

Female. Unknown.

Material examined. Types: holotype ♂: MALAYSIA: Malaya, Negeri Sembilan, Pasoh Forest Reserve, 25.II.1979, primary forest, P. & M. Becker leg. (AEIC). Paratypes: same locality label as holotype, 26.VI.1978, 4.XII.1978, 21.II.1979, 26.II.1979, 7.VI.1979, 15.IX.1979, 10.XI.1979, 16.XI.1979, 23.II.1980, collected both in primary and secondary forest, 9♂ (six in AEIC, three in AMNH). Other material. BRUNEI: Temburong District, Batu Apoi Forest Reserve, Kuala Belalong Field Studies Centre, 04°34'N 115°07'E, 24.II.1992, Malaise trap, N. Mawdsley leg., 1♂ (BMNH). CHINA: Guangdong, Fengkai, Heishiding Provincial Nature Reserve, 15.VIII.2003, Jujian Chen leg., 1♂ (SCAU); Hainan, Mt. Yinggeling, 17–20.VII.2010, Huayan Chen leg., 1♂ (SCAU). LAOS: Vientiane Prov., Ban Van Eue (AMNH). MALAYSIA: Sabah, Sipitang, Mendolong (ZIL, AMNH); Sabah, Danum Valley Field Camp, 140 m (RNHL).

Hosts. Unknown.

Distribution. China (Hainan, Guangdong), Malaysia (Malaya, Sabah), Brunei (Temburong), Laos (Vientiane).
