Helina juxtamedialis Emden, 1951

Examined type material: Holotype male seen; mid left leg missing. One male paratype from Mozambique (Mt. Mulanje) dissected and illustrated.
Diagnosis. Scutum with two brown median vittae between the dorsocentral rows of setae, reaching the second pair of postsutural dorsocentrals; two strong presutural dorsocentral setae; wing veins bare and wing with no brown marks; costal spine developed; lower katepisternal seta more distant from the anterior than from the posterior one; fore tibia without posterior seta; mid tibia without anterodorsal seta; hind tibia without a posterodorsal seta on basal third; claws and pulvilli developed.
Male terminalia. Sternite 5 triangular, with setae on disc, lobes large, each one with a strong seta (Fig. 20); cercal plate square and surstylus short, as long as cercal plate in lateral view (Figs 21–22); aedeagal complex with phallapodeme short and straight, epiphallus a little longer than postgonite, and distiphallus very short (Fig. 23).
