Onchopelma pulchella Hesse, 1938: 967. Hesse, 1967: 105.
REMARKS. This is one of only two species for which males are known. Evenhuis (1993) examined the type material in BMNH and designated the male as lectotype. No further material has since been found of this species in collections consulted. The original description and salient characters given in Hesse (1938) serve to adequately distinguish the species.
