Scaphoideus ornatus Melichar

Scaphoideus ornatus Melichar, 1903: 196; Kitbamroong & Freytag, 1978, 23, Figs 123–128. HOLOTYPE ɗ, SRI LANKA [MMB, notexamined]
This species was not encountered during the study; however, illustrations of the holotype male drawn by Freytag are included. It can readily be recognised by the peculiarly shaped paraphyses.
