Geron erythropus Bezzi 1925

Description

Geron erythropus Bezzi, 1925

Material: Two specimens: Amman 21.IX.1981 (1Ψ) (Al Yarmouk University); As Salt 1.VIII.1993 (1ɗ).

Distribution: Palaearctic: Egypt.

The above specimen may be the undescribed female of this species. The size, color, and pale legs are the same as the male. It has been reared from Palpita unionalis Hübner (Pyralidae) (Yeates and Greathead, 1997).
