Description

Scythris canescens (Staudinger, 1880)

Material examined. 1 Ƥ N. Afghanistan, Polichomri, 700 m, 28.v.1956, H. G. Amsel leg. [genital slide 9465 PdE].

Distribution. Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Turkey, Syria, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. Remarks. Pol-e-Khomri (Baghlan Province) is located in the northeastern Afghanistan, near the Hindu Kush Range.
