Trisinus cratocerus Raffray, 1894: 265.

Type material examined. Syntype: SINGAPORE: 3, labeled ‘ Singapore // Muséum Paris / 1917 / Coll. A. Raffray // TYPE [red label] // T. cratocerus / A. Raffray det.’ (MNHN).

Remarks. This is the type species of Trisinus. It can be readily separated from the other species of the genus by the strongly swollen male antennomere VII and sparse and coarse punctation and large foveae near the middle of the pronotum.
