Description
Rhopalus (Aeschyntelus) maculatus (Fieber 1837)
Coreus crassicornis Latreille, 1804: 205 (junior homonym); Coreus clavicornis Boitard, 1828: 123 (junior homonym); Corizus maculatus Fieber, 1837: 349 (as new species); Rhopalus chinensis Dallas, 1852: 529; Corizus ledi Boheman, 1852: 51; Corizus meridionalis Jakovlev, 1869: 116; Rhopalus maculatus decolor Wagner, 1962: 15.
Distribution in Iran. Hamadan (Samin et al. 2011), Mazandaran (Wagner 1968; Hoberlandt & Švihla 1990a), West Azarbaijan (Sakenin et al. 2010).
General distribution. Palearctic, unknown in North Africa.
