Description

* Bartolius pierrei Cremonte, 2001

Type host. Larus dominicanus Lichtenstein (Aves: Laridae).

Site of infection. Intestine.

Type locality. Argentina, Chubut Province, Península Valdés, Playa Fracasso (42º25ʹS, 64º07ʹW).

Holotype: MLP 4791. Paratypes: MLP 4792 (4 specimens).

Remarks. Paratype and voucher specimen (stained whole-mounts of natural adult and metacercaria, respectively) in The Natural History Museum, London, United Kingdom.
