Description

Trichuris pardinasi Robles, Navone & Notarnicola, 2006

Type host. Phyllotis xanthopygus Waterhouse (Mammalia: Muridae). Site of infection. Caecum.

Type locality. Argentina, Buenos Aires Province, Sierra de la Ventana, Cerro Destierro (38º01ʹ25ʹ S, 62º54ʹ39ʹ W).

Holotype: 3 MLP 5455. Paratypes: MLP 5456 (allotype Ƥ), MLP 5457 (23, 2Ƥ), MLP 5458 (13, 1Ƥ). Reference. Robles et al. (2006).
