Description

Stilestrongylus oryzomysi Sutton & Durette –Desset, 1991

Type host. Oryzomys flavescens (Waterhouse) (Mammalia: Cricetidae). Site of infection. Small intestine.

Type locality. Argentina, Buenos Aires Province, Campana, RN 12, Km 100 (35°6ʹ59ʺS, 60°28ʹ45ʺW). Holotype: 3 MLP 1914/1. Paratypes: MLP 1914/2 (allotype Ƥ), MLP 1914/3. (933, 9ƤƤ) (cited as MLP

1914bC).

Remarks. Paratypes (933, 10ƤƤ) in the Muséum national d’Histoire naturelle, Paris, France. Reference. Sutton & Durette–Desset (1991).
