Contracaecum chubutensis Garbin, Díaz, Cremonte & Navone, 2008

Type host. Phalacrocorax atriceps King (Aves: Phalacrocoracidae). Site of infection. Stomach.

Type locality. Argentina, Chubut Province, Bahía Bustamante (45º11ʹS, 66º30ʹW). Holotype: 3 MLP 5748. Paratypes: MLP 5749 (allotype Ƥ), MLP 5750. Reference. Garbin et al. (2008).
