Favites micropentagona Veron, 2002

Material: ZUTC Cnid. 1021, two colony fragments, Larak Island, 26° 53' 0.7" N, 56° 20' 51.3" E, Coll. J. Vajed Samiei, November 2010. Identification guide: Veron (200-2)

Notes for local identification: Colonies are encrusting to sub-massive and sometimes nodular. Colors could be a combination of green, brown and white. Sizes of the corallites are 1–2 millimeters smaller than F. pentagona.

Abundance: Common.

Depth of occurrence: About 3 m.
