Type locality. Vung Dam Lom, Hon-Lon, Nha-Trang Bay, Vietnam, South China Sea.

Remarks. Cymadusa panwa Peart, 2002, is synonymised with C. vadosa Imbach, 1967, following reexamination of type material. The characters cited in the original remarks section for C. panwa do not confirm with the illustrations, leading to an oversight in recognising a known species. The distribution of C. vadosa is significantly extended with material from Lord Howe Island, Tasman Sea and Cocos (Keeling) Islands, Indian Ocean.
