Arrenurus (Megaluracarus) santaniensis Wiles, 1997
Material examined. 2/0/0, Lake Sentani, Papua province, 2° 33.576 S 140° 25.438 E, alt. 84 m asl, 28-x-2011.
Remarks. The species was described from Lake Sentani by Wiles (1997b), but not collected by me in Lake Sentani in 2010. The water mites collected in 2011 came from the more western part of the lake, further away from the more densely human-populated eastern part of the lake.
