Description

Megalocoleus signoreti (Reuter, 1879)

Synonym. Megalocoleus hirsutus Drapolyuk, 1991 (synonymy by Matocq 2004a). Distribution in Iran. Golestan (Drapolyuk 1991, paratype of M. hirsutus from Astrabad, now Gorgan), Khuzestan (Linnavuori 2010), Iran (no locality cited) (Kerzhner & Josifov 1999 under the synonym M. hirsutus; Aukema et al. 2013).

General distribution and hosts. Azerbaijan, France, Iran, Italy, Spain, Russia (Dagestan); collected on Helianthemum guttatum (Linnavuori 2010).
