Brachynotocoris puncticornis Reuter, 1889

Distribution in Iran. Alborz (Pagola-Carte 2010), Fars (Linnavuori 2009), Golestan (Ghahari 2013), Guilan (Linnavuori 2007), Khorasan (Linnavuori & Modarres Awal 1999), Mazandaran (Ghahari et al. 2008b, 2009a as “ Brachynema puncticornis Reuter ”), Tehran (Linnavuori 2007), West Azarbaijan (Linnavuori 2009), Iran (no locality cited) (Aukema et al. 2013).

General distribution and hosts. North Mediterranean species collected on Fraxinus rotundifolia (Linnavuori & Modarres Awal 1999; Linnavuori 2007), Fraxinus excelsior (Linnavuori 2009), Hibiscus esculentus and Eragrostis poaoides (Ghahari et al. 2008b). Ghahari et al. (2009a) recorded it from the rice fields of Mazandaran (northern Iran).
