Deraeocoris (Plexaris) pilipes (Reuter, 1879)

Distribution in Iran. Alborz (Babmorad et al. 2000; Linnavuori 2007), Ardabil (Linnavuori 2007), Fars (Linnavuori 2009), Golestan (Ghahari 2013), Guilan (Linnavuori 2007), Isfahan (Jafari et al. 2002; Linnavuori 2009; Rakhshani et al. 2010), Kermanshah (Linnavuori 2009), Khorasan (Wagner 1957; Linnavuori & Modarres Awal 1999), Kordestan (Linnavuori 2009; Ebrahimi et al. 2012), Kuhgiloyeh & Boyerahmad (Linnavuori 2009), Markazi (Arkani et al. 2011), Sistan & Baluchestan (Wagner 1957), Tehran (Linnavuori 2007), West Azarbaijan (Linnavuori 2009; Gharaat et al. 2009 as D. (Camptobrochis) pilipes), Yazd (Linnavuori 2009), Iran (no locality cited) (Kerzhner & Josifov 1999).

General distribution, host and prey. Irano-Turanian species; observed on Cyperus sp., Medicago sativa (Ebrahimi et al. 2012) and Salix sp. (Linnavuori & Modarres Awal 1999; Linnavuori 2007, 2009); predator of poplar lace bug Monosteira unicostata (Heteroptera: Tingidae) (Babmorad et al. 2000; Jafari et al. 2002).
