Exogone (Parexogone) hebes (Webster & Benedict, 1884)

DISTRIBUTION: NA, CA.

LITERATURE RECORDS: Banse 1959; Kiseleva 1964; Katzmann 1972; Požar-Domac 1994; Zahtila 1995. NEW RECORDS: BM52, BM54.

REMARKS: Castelli et al. (2008) assumed that all the Italian records of E. hebes refer to E. meridionalis Cognetti, 1955, thus E. hebes was not included in the checklist of Italian polychaetes. In the present checklist both species are regarded as present.
