Genus Lumbrinerides Orensanz, 1973

® Lumbrinerides acuta (Verrill, 1875)

DISTRIBUTION: SA.

NEW RECORDS: Along the Adriatic coast of Puglia, in 1985, by N.C. Bianchi (G. Cantone, pers. comm.). REMARKS: This is the first record from the Adriatic Sea.

(AL) Lumbrinerides neogesae Miura, 1980

DISTRIBUTION: SA.

LITERATURE RECORDS: Gravina & Cantone 1991.

REMARKS: Alien species native from South Africa (Zenetos et al. 2010). Recorded for the first time in the Mediterranean in the SA and central Tyrrhenian Sea by Gravina & Cantone (1991).
