Corythauma ayyari (Drake)

Material examined. 1 spec. An Phu, Luc Yen prov, Yen Bai, 300m, N° 207, 3 /III/1971, leg. Topal-Matakasi (HMNH). 3 spec, Tanh Liet, SW of Hanoi, N° 140, 23 /IV/1966, Leg Topal, (HMNH).
Distribution. This species previously was known from India, Indonesia (Drake & Ruhoff 1965a), Laos (Guilbert 2007), Thailand, and Malaysia (pers. obs.).
Discussion. It recently has been introduced into France (Streito et al. 2010) and Italy (Pedata et al. 2013) where it was found on Jasminium sp.
