219. Saperda (Saperda) carcharias (Linnaeus, 1758)

Examined material. None.

Distribution. Europe, Eastern Palaearctic, Near East, Oriental region.

Distribution in Serbia. N (V) and W (2; 21; 60).

Remarks. It has not been collected in huge amounts in Serbia despite the fact that it is a frequent pest of poplar and willow (especially in the Pannonian Plain) (Adamović 1965; Ilić 2005).

Distribution. Europe, Near East.

Distribution in Serbia. C (2; 21; 27).

Remarks. Very rare species in Serbia. Known solely from Mt. Kopaonik (Košanin 1904).

Distribution. Europe, Asia Minor, Kazakhstan, Algeria.

Distribution in Serbia. N (V), W, C, E, and S (2; 9; 14; 18; 21–23; 48; 52; 60; 62; 80).

Remarks. Sporadically found in the country. Mostly on dry trunks of deciduous trees, as well as in woodpiles and orchards.

Remarks. Rare species in Serbia. Registered in woodpiles on cut branches of birch, aspen, and beech.

Remarks. Collected at a few sites in Serbia.

Remarks. Rare species in both Europe and Serbia (Ilić 2005).

Remarks. Widespread in Serbia, but sporadically found. We collected it on leaves of poplar.

226. Saperda (Compsidia) quercus quercus Charpentier, 1825

Examined material. None.

Distribution. Balkan Peninsula, Near East.

Distribution in Serbia. N (V) (2).

Remarks. Very rare taxon in Serbia. Only one specimen was collected in Apatin (Adamović 1965). Additionally, it was recorded in the Banat region of Serbia, but without any further information regarding the finding (Adamović 1965).
