Niphona Mulsant 1839

Description

Niphona Mulsant, 1839

*196. Niphona (Niphona) picticornis Mulsant, 1839

Examined material. None.

Distribution. Mediterranean region.

Distribution in Serbia. Serbia, without precise locality (3).

Remarks. Althoff & Danilevsky (1997) reported the species from Serbia, but without any additional data on the precise finding. Later, Danilevsky (2015) didn’t mention the presence in Serbia. No other data available from the literature exist regarding the presence in the country. This finding is suspicious since the species is recorded in the Mediterranean areas.
