Specimens examined. CHINA: 1 apterous vivipara, Fujian (Mt. Wuyishan), on one kind of bamboo, 21.vii.2003 (Huang XL & Qiao GX) [No. 14568]; 10 apterous viviparae, Guangxi (Napo County), on Pleioblastus amarus, 12.iv.1998, (Qiao GX) [No. 11796].

Distribution. China (Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi), Indonesia.

Biology. Its host plants are Pleioblastus amarus (Poaceae) and other bamboos.
