Description

Notonemouridae incertae sedis

Material examined. PARALECTOTYPE of Nemoura rufescens Blanchard, 1851, gender unknown, present designation: CHILE, San Carlos (NMPC, transferred to alcohol vial) (Labels, kept in box IV.17: Museum Paris / Chili / Gay 15-43 (printed); 15 / 43 (handwritten round label); Type (red, printed); San Carlos (handwritten, maybe of Gay).

Remarks. As written above, the paralectotype of N. rufescens is only a forewing fragment (Fig. 17), and cannot be confidently determined even to genus.
