Opius (Hypocynodus) ponticus Fischer, 1958
Material examined. 1♀ and 2♂, Iran, Golestan province, Gorgan, 36°50′N 54°30′E, June 2008; 2♀, Mazandaran province, Behshar, 36°41′N 53°44′E, April 2009 (new record).
Distribution outside Iran. Austria, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan (Yu et al. 2012), Turkey (Fischer 1958a, 1972; Fischer and Beyarslan 2005a; Yu et al. 2012; Beyarslan and Fischer 2013; Beyarslan 2015). Host records. Unknown.
