154. Junonia chorimene Guérin-Méneville, 1844

WL: 26mm. This species is typical of Guinea savanna and is distributed along the dry areas of Gambia to Ethiopia, northern Kenya and southwestern Arabia. The known host-plants belong to the genera Asystasia, Barleria, Hypoestes, Paulowilhelmia and Ruellia (Acanthaceae).

Studied material. Bafatá: Tabandinto, woodland, 10.02.2013, 1♂ (SV) (CZ000011022); Brincasse, cashew, 0 6.02.2013, 1♀ (SV) (CZ000011024). Cacheu: Caió, several specimens (JB). Gabú: Biricunda, woodland, 0 4.03.2013, 1♂ (SV) (CZ000011021); Cansamanje, woodland, 21.02.2013, 1♀ (SV) (CZ000011023).
