Remarks. Excepting C. acuticerca, C. giganea is also “aberrant” in this genus; this species was described based on one specimen lacking an abdomen from Perak, Malaysia (Roth 1993). It’s distinctly different from other Ctenoneura species by its pronotum and venation, with a body distinctly larger than any known Ctenoneura species. Due to only the single and incomplete example described in Roth (1993), the generic status of this species remains unsolved; we have included it in Ctenoneura temporarily.
