Hongzhang Zhou (IZ-CAS); 2 males, south of Xiaolongmen Forest Farm, 1225 m, mixed broad-leaved forest, pitfall traps, 18–21.VII.1999, coll. Xiaodong Yu (IZ-CAS); 7 males, 2 females, south of Xiaolongmen Forest Farm, 1225 m, oak forest, pitfall traps, 18–21.VII.1999, coll. Measurements. Body length: 22.4–23.8 mm. CL: 0.75; EL: 3.22; ELS: 1.39; EW: 4.07; HL: 3.00; HW: 3.57; PO: 1.43; PL: 4.01; PW: 3.76.
Distribution. Protocypus fulvotomentosus is at present known from Beijing, Gansu, Hebei, Ningxia and Shanxi.
