Erro impiger sp.n. (Figs. 1, 3, 4, 6, 9, 10)

Description. Habitus Fig.1. Length from front of head to apex of elytra 0.80 mm. Shining and pubescent, colour blackish brown, pubescence, antennae and legs yellow. Head with depressions on either side of disc posterior to antennal insertions and a row of prominent setae on the posterior margin Fig. 6. Width across eyes 0. 27mm. Antennomeres 3–11 0.39 mm long Fig. 3. Mentum and submentum chaetotaxy as Fig. 8. Pronotum and scutellum pitted, barely tuberculate; pronotum 0.22 mm long, 0. 34 mm. wide, scutellum with two shallow depressions at anterior corners. Elytra smooth and shining pubescence arising from shallow depressions, 0.49 mm long, 0.42 mm wide. Mesoventrum with elongate central keel Fig. 10. Etymology. From the Latin impiger meaning active and referring to the insect's likely terrestrial movements.

Remarks. Distinguishable from angolensis by the more shining and less densely tuberculate head and pronotum, and by the presence of the thick spermathecal duct.
