Antisphodrus Schaufuss 1865
Description
Subgenus Antisphodrus Schaufuss, 1865.
The seven known Iranian representatives of the subgenus Antisphodrus are currently placed into two speciesgroups, esfandiarii and glasunowi. Based on the examination of newly collected material studied within this work and including five new species, the authors decided to establish two new Antisphodrus species-groups characterised by peculiar morphological features. These species-groups are described below.
