Type locality: India: Himalaya, Kumaon: Pauri Garhwal Tarsali (HT); MHNG. Driopea (Driopea) schmidi Löbl & Smetana, 2010: 208 (Cat.).

Distribution: India (Himachal Pradesh: Himalaya, Kumaon, Pauri Garhwal Tarsali; UP; Sikkim; WB: Darjeeling Distr.) & Iran.

Miaenia Pascoe, 1864a : 27, 38 (type sp.: Miaenia marmorea Pascoe, 1864); Subsequent des. Thomson, 1864: 490; Sciades Pascoe, 1864a: 27, 30 (type sp.: Leiopus suffusus Pascoe, 1859); Aegocidnus (Pseudocidnus) Breuning, 1957c: 112 (type sp.: Exocentrus tonsus Bates, 1873).
