Remarks. New records of Haploniscus foresti include 19 samples collected in the Iceland Basin and the Irminger Basin at depths between 1295 and 2400 m (Fig. 11 B, Table 1). Previous records of H. foresti are from the Rockall Trough, the Rockall Plateau (type locality, Chardy 1974) and the Porcupine Seabight and at the depth range of 1632 and 3697 m (Lincoln 1985b; Kavanagh 2009). The BIOICE samples extend the known range of the species to nearly 64°N and 29°W.
