Description

Tribe NEOMYSINI Wittmann, Ariani & Lagardère, 2014

Acanthomysis longicornis (Milne-Edwards, 1837)

Bay of Biscay (Sorbe 1982, 1984, 1989, San Vicente 1996, San Vicente & Sorbe 2001). Galicia (Frutos 2006). Portugal (Cunha et al. 1997ab). Alboran Sea (Nouvel 1943, 1951b). Mediterranean Sea (Bacescu 1941, San Vicente & Munilla 2000). Atlantic coast of Morocco (Furnestin 1957, 1959).

Neomysis integer (Leach, 1814)

Bay of Biscay (Nouvel 1972, D’Elbeé & Castell 1982, Aguirrezabalaga et al. 1988, San Vicente et al. 1988 ab, 1990, San Vicente 1996). Galicia (Bernardo-Madrid et al. 2013). Portugal (as Mysis vulgaris: Nobre 1903). Portugal (Costa 1988, Cunha et al. 1999b, Cabral & Ohmert 2001, Salgado et al. 2004, Remerie 2005, Marques et al. 2006, Remerie et al. 2006b, 2009, Martinho et al. 2008, Gonçalves et al. 2010, Azeda et al. 2013, Cardoso et al. 2014). Gulf of Cádiz (Cuesta et al. 1996, Drake et al. 1997, 1999, Baldó et al. 2001b, Remerie 2005, Vilas 2005, Vilas et al. 2008; Remerie et al. 2006b, 2009).

Remarks. The presence of this species in Rosas beach (Munilla & Corrales 1995) should be considered as an erroneous report because reported individuals were juveniles in bad condition (Sorbe com. pers.).
