- Head without coronal suture; mandible with inner margin brown distally (Fig. 2B)...................... Mantispinae...2
2. Abdominal tergites III–IV each with setae only as long as height of dorsal hooks in lateral view (Fig. 2C)................................................................... Dicromantispa interrupta (Say) / Dicromantispa sayi (Banks) - Abdominal tergites III–IV each with setae 2–3 times as long as height of dorsal hooks in lateral view (Fig. 2D)........... 3 3. Abdominal tergites IV–V each with a transverse band of red circular pores (Fig. 1C)............ Climaciella brunnea (Say) - Abdominal tergites IV–V without a transverse band of red circular pores.......................................... 4 4.
