Holotype: NTUM 0 3723, 107 mm SL, female.
Type locality: Chungchou fish market, Kaohsiung, southwestern Taiwan. Illustrations: Chen & Shao, 2002:65, figs. 1 & 2.
D: X, 17 or 18. A: III, 7. P: 13. C: 17 (9 + 8). GR: 17 or 18. LL: 32 or 33.
Distribution: western Pacific: Taiwan.
