Hypoplectrodes annulatus (Günther, 1859)

Plectropoma annulatum Günther, 1859

Holotype: BMNH 1855.9.19.174.

Type locality: Port Jackson, New South Wales, Australia. Illustrations: Gomon et al., 2008:543; Kuiter, 2004:119, figs. A –C (bottom of page).

D: X, 17 or 18. A: III, 7. P: 15 to 17. C: 17 (9 + 8). V: 27 or 28 (10 + 17 or 18). S: 3. GR: 19 or 20 (6 + 13 or 14). LL: 43 to 50.

Distribution: western South Pacific, off southern Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria.
