Holanthias fronticinctus (Günther, 1868)
Anthias fronticinctus Günther, 1868
Lectotype: BMNH 1867.10.8.40, 173 mm SL (selected by Anderson & Heemstra, 2012:90). Type locality: off the Island of Saint Helena, South Atlantic Ocean. Illustrations: Anderson & Heemstra, 2012, fig. 24; Edwards, 1990: pl. 11.2; Kuiter, 2004: 17.
D: X, 15 or 16 (usually 15). A: III, 7. P: 19 to 21 (usually 20). C: 15 (8 + 7). V: 26 (10 + 16). S: 2. GR: 38 to 43 (10 to 14 + 26 to 30). LL: 50 to 55. CP: 24 to 26.
Distribution: South Atlantic: Saint Helena, reported from Bonaparte Seamount (ca. 130 kilometers west of Saint Helena), Ascension Island, and Grattan seamount (260 kilometers southeast of Ascension Island).
