Acanthistius pardalotus Hutchins, 1981

Holotype: WAM P. 5113, 189 mm SL.

Type locality: mouth of Murchison River, Kalbarri (27°42’ S, 114°12’ E), Western Australia. Illustrations: Hutchins, 1981, figs. 1b, 2; Kuiter, 2004:121.

D: XIII, 14 or 15. A: III, 8. P: 17 or 18. GR: 11 to 13 (lower limb). LL: 50 to 56.

Distribution: southwestern Australia: off Western Australia.
