Body whitish, setose fields of each (sub)lobe yellowish-brown. Body length 16.5–19.5 mm. Cranium: width 2.25–2.54 mm, height 1.32–1.47 mm. Cranium yellowish to yellowish-brown, smooth; semi-circular in shape, dorsally flattened (length of dorsal straight portion of cranial margin slightly less than one half of maximum width of cranium). Chaetotaxy as in Table 1. Epipharynx: Zygum with 13–18 stout conical setae and 8–14 similarly shaped setae at its proximal base. Chaetoparia with 63–77 and 36–53 setae on right and left side respectively. Acanthoparia with 4–7 ovate setae, 1 or 2 distal setae elongated. Stridulatory area of mandibles with 13–20 transverse ridges, stridulatory ridges of proximal ¼ narrow and irregular. Apical scissorial tooth of left mandible about two times larger than subapical tooth, but not falcate. Transverse proximal row of setae and sensilla on ligula composed of 11–15 combined stout lanceolate setae and campaniform sensilla. Thoracic legs with stout (spinelike) or long hair-like setae, the hair-like setae are well developed, never slender. Respiratory plate of spiracle with 10–12 holes across diameter. Raster monostichous composed of single horseshoe-like row of 18–27 pali, septula broadly ovate, opened posteriorly, almost as wide as long. Tegillar setae variable in size, some about ½ of the size of palus, mostly about three times size of palus, numerous long setae present as well. Tegilla evenly covered with setae (average distance between two setae about two to three times of length of palus), tegilla fused, campus absent. Dorsal parts of last abdominal segment with prominent ring of dense long setae surrounding circular field of short ovate-like setae.
