Description

Isobactrus ponapensis Abé, 1996

Record associated with mangroves: Pasir Ris Park, Singapore, from dead branch with shells of barnacles; Pulau Ubin, OBS Camp, Singapore, amongst root bale of uprooted palm (Bartsch 2015).

Record from other habitats: Abé (1996) described this species among Phaeophyceae Turbinaria ornata and Monocotyledoneae Thalasia hemprichii, coarse, coral sandy sediment from Micronesia, Ponape Island (Central Pacific Ocean).

Distribution: Ponape Island, Singapore.
