Types: P. drurii , ♂ holotype from Guyana: Demerara. Deposited at the BNHM (Jeekel 1963).
R. terminalis, ♂ holotype from Guyana, without further locality; Schomburgk leg. Deposited at the ZMB, cat. no. 2098, in the alcohol collection (Moritz & Fischer 1978; J. A. Dunlop, pers. comm.).
R. amphelictus, ♂ holotype from Guyana: Labba Creek Sand Hills, F. M. Gaige leg., 27-VII-1914. Deposited at the MCZ, cat. no. DIPL-5127 (https://mczbase.mcz.harvard.edu/guid/MCZ:IZ:DIPL-5127 last viewed 4-IV- 2018).
R. kartabo, ♀ holotype from Guyana: Kartabo. Originally deposited at the AMNH (Chamberlin 1950), we could not confirm its current state.
Distribution: Guyana.
Comments: Jeekel (1963, 2007) suggested close affinities with Asian Platyrhacidae and a possible introduction from Burma or the Malayan Peninsula, a hypothesis rejected by Shelley & Martínez-Torres (2013).
