Anisepyris brandiri Barbosa & Azevedo, sp. nov.

(Figs 4A; 5E; 5M; 5S)

Description, female. Body length 6.38 mm. Head with dark green reflection; mesosoma with green reflection and metapectal-propodeal disc black; wings subhyaline; metasoma dark castaneous. Head long. Mandible with five distal teeth, wide and angled, the four superior teeth hardly distinct each other, with lower tooth longer than others. Median clypeal lobe quadrate, short. Frons coriaceous; antennal scrobe ecarinate. Eye small. Frontal angle of ocellae forming right angle; ocelli very small. Vertex strongly convex. Pronotal disc as long as wide, sparsely punctured; transverse pronotal carina present, incomplete; posterior margin without posterior pronotal sulcus. Notaulus narrow. Mesoscutellar disc with mesoscutellar sulcus narrow. Metapectal-propodeal disc short; metapostnotal median carina complete; longitudinal ridges present; metapostnotal-propodeal suture straight; paraspiracular carina present and inconspicuous; metapleural carina present and conspicuous; metapectalpropodeal disc polished; propodeal declivity polished. Mesopleuron with anterior fovea closed; mesopleural fovea closed; lower fovea opened and strigate; posterior fovea absent; mesopleural suture opened. Forewing with stigma developed; Rs&M vein distinguished. Mesotibia spinose; claws trifid. Metasomal segments sparsely setose. Genitalia. T9 with anterior arm long and overlapping 2vf; 1vv slightly longer than genitalia body; 2vv shorter than 1vv length, abruptly narrowing apicad; 3vv long; 1vf strongly curved forward; 2vf slender, ventral margin angled, and with dorsal lap swollen posteriorly; 1rv strongly curved forward, ventral process large, and posterior process long; 2rv strongly curved forward.

Material examined. Holotype, ♀, BRAZIL, São Paulo, Ibitinga, Cultura de Seringueira, 21°45'28”S 48°49'44"W, 08.iii.1989, [armadilha] Möricke (UFES 10005). Paratype (1). BRAZIL, Roraima, 1 ♀, Rio Uraricoera, Ilha de Maraca, 1–4.iii.1988, Armadilha Malaise, J.A. Rafael e equipe (INPA).

Distribution. Brazil: Roraima, São Paulo.

Remarks. This new species differs from A. bradleyi by having the head as long as wide; the clypeus protruding and truncate with the clypeal carina angled; the frontal angle of the ocellar triangle obtuse; and the notaulus very narrow, whereas A. bradleyi has the head long; the clypeus with the median lobe rounded and short; and the frontal angle of the ocellae forming a right angle.
