Published data. Iran (Pic 1913, as Anthicus, Persia; Сhandler et al. 2008, checklist).
Comments. No exact locality information from Iran is available for this species. Recent material from Iran was not available.
Chorotype. Turanian (5.07 TUR). Hitherto only known from Iran.
