Lectotype (Hedge in Rechinger, Fl. Iranica 150: 435. 1982): Hasselquist, Herb. Linn. No. 42.15 (LINN; iso- UPS-HASSELQ 471, 472).

Current name: Salvia syriaca L. (Lamiaceae).
