RECONECTANDO: UM ESTUDO SOBRE O CEGO ADQUIRIDO E A UTILIZAÇÃO DE SERIOUS GAMES NA SUA REABILITAÇÃO

This work aims to investigate the difficulties faced by blind people acquired, both psychologically and for their motor rehabilitation, and how these individuals relate to games and technology. The methodology used consists of qualitative research, in which works relevant to the topic were analyzed, discussed and compared and interviews with teachers working with blind people. We conclude that we can make use of the technology to enable a better adaptation of people with blindness acquired using the concept of serious games in order to increase the hearing sensitivity. At work, the focus is on people who have just gone blind, as it is believed that trauma and the difficulties of adapting to the new reality can be softened by the adoption of processes and recreational resources.

Este trabalho tem o objetivo de investigar as dificuldades enfrentadas por cegos adquiridos, tanto psicologicamente quanto para sua reabilitação, e como estes indivíduos se relacionam com jogos e tecnologia. A metodologia utilizada consiste da pesquisa qualitativa, na qual trabalhos relevantes ao tema foram analisados, discutidos e comparados e entrevistas com professores que trabalham com pessoas cegas. Conclui-se que podemos fazer uso da tecnologia para possibilitar uma melhor adaptação das pessoas com cegueira adquirida utilizando-se do conceito de serious games de maneira a aumentar a sensibilidade auditiva. No trabalho, o foco são as pessoas que acabaram de ficar cegas, pois acredita-se que o trauma e as dificuldades de adaptação à nova realidade podem ser amenizados com a adoção de processos e recursos lúdicos.
